Green technology (
i.e. green-tech ) is a technology which aims at sustainable energy
resource technologies such as photovoltaic, wind turbines, bio-reactors, etc.It evolving with the other technologies like medical technology,educational technology, business technology etc.
It refers new innovations and technologies related to clean energy, recycling
of resource, green building and less impact of human population on
environment. Green technology used to curb environmental issues such
as solid waste management, air and water purification, etc.

Waste
management and recycling :
With increasing population and tremendous use of
resources, large amount of waste generates. Major part of this
waste enters into the environment without any recycling process on it. Due
to lack of awareness and technology about recycling, people
ignores at it.
Innovation
in renewal energy resource :
Non-renewable energy resources are decline very fast. The need of
renewable energy resources is must for future purpose. Solar energy, wind
energy, tidal energy, etc. like many form of renewable energy sources are
available today but the main issue is of cost and efficiency of the
equipments requires for the same.

World economy and world population as well growing very fast.
Industrial sector is one of the main contributor for air and water
pollution. New techniques should be developed and used for the control of both
type of pollution.
E-waste became big issue due to increased use of electronic equipments.
Solid waste management refers to the categorization of the solid waste and
appropriate disposal.
Innovation in maximizing efficiency
of existing renewable and non-renewable resources is the prime important
issues. Many research institutes and environmental organizations in the
developed as well as developing countries are working on this area.
